The Details
This project details a freshwater marina that the residents of the community will be able to drive their personal boats up to using the canal system.
The marina needed close to 1000’ of bulkhead that would be 6’ tall and stand the test of time. Along the portion of the wall where the lift would pick the boats and take them to the salt water river, there needed to be a concrete bulkhead installed.
The timber bulkhead was installed using an excavator and a vibratory hammer, whereas the concrete sheeting section of the bulkhead needed to be jetted in.
