The Challenge
Southern Trace Country Club is a private golfing and residential community built next to Wallace Lake in Shreveport, Louisiana. It is home to an Arthur Hills signature golf course that was recently renovated by Wadsworth Golf Construction, along with architect, Jim Lipe.
During the renovation, it was discovered that two separate existing timber bulkheads were failing, and two additional new bulkheads were needed.
The Solution
Black Creek Construction was recommended and contracted out to structure stabilize, clean, and stain over 400ft of existing 5ft tall timber bulkhead and the installation of two new timber bulkheads built for the protection of the important and expensive course greens.
