A family owned business that’s stood the test of time
Our family-owned business Black Creek Construction, originated back in 1997. Back then we were known as Georgia Bridge and Dock, by our father, Mike Davis.
We have perfected the timber bridge building industry’s craft utilizing the top-down method for minimal disruption in wetland areas as well as bulkheads and docks.
Now owned and run by two of the original owner’s sons (Erik and Hal Davis), we strive for customer satisfaction on every project. We bring energy and determination as young entrepreneurs and incorporate the wisdom of a 25-year-old business, to deliver a quality project that is never compromised to the customer.

Hal Davis
Co-Founder
After graduating from High School, Hal enrolled at Georgia Southern University where he majored in Construction management. In his free time, he would go to his dad’s job sites and work with the crews on the projects at hand.
This, along with the years of working on job sites since he was 7, gave him a full understanding of what every person’s responsibilities are within a crew and the different struggles those positions encounter. Once he received his diploma and so did his twin brother, they bought the business from their dad and are working every day to put their vision into Black Creek Construction, Inc.
Erik Davis
Co-Founder
While growing up Erik was always around the crews at the shop as they were gearing up for the next job or organizing after coming back from a job. If they were allowed, he and his brother would go to the job sites and help the crews.
Once in college, Erik studied Mechanical Engineering and during the summers he had off would also go and work on job sites. Once he received his diploma and so did his twin brother, they bought the business from their dad and are working every day to put their vision into Black Creek Construction, Inc.
